IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: About six feet, muscular - broad in the shoulders, strong and able to wear heavy armor and carry around a sword and shield for hours and hours at a time, Alistair is a pretty traditionally handsome blonde guy, chiseled jaw, the whole nine yards.
•DEMEANOR: Self-deprecating, Alistair likes to be the center of attention but doesn't always know what to do with himself when he has it. He's a bit like a puppy - eager, quick with a smile or a terrible joke. He has good posture after all his Chantry training, though sometimes he'll slouch if he's feeling particularly glum or sulky.
•ABILITIES: Alistair is a sword-and-shield warrior with a pretty straightforward fighting style. His only "special" abilities are provided by his Templar training, which allow him to nullify magic temporarily within a certain radius and make it tough for magic users to operate effectively. Otherwise he's a badass normal.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Alistair is, for all intents and purposes, a healthy, strapping young man. Aside from the taint which is going to cut his life short in about twenty years. But eh, who's counting?
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Er... don't insult his mother?
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Go for it. He's probably had a bit of training in how to resist mental invasion, but he's probably not very good at it. Not that you'd find anything particularly interesting - he's a simple sort of guy.
•MIMICRY: That should be okay - let me know if you want to do something like that and we'll talk it out.
•VIOLENCE: Sure! Alistair can take care of himself in a fight. If you've got a magical or powered character, we might need to talk outcomes, but I'm fine with violence in general.
•MAGIC: Alistair actually has training in how to nullify and counteract magical attacks - so while you're welcome to do it, he may very well be able to counter it quite effectively.
•DEBATE: Alistair's not a very confrontational guy, but I mean if you want to try, you can! He'll just probably walk away from the conversation.
•HUGGING/KISSING/PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Probably only in shipping situations. He's not terribly used to touchy-feely things.
•SHIPS: Sure! I'll ship him with any female Warden, and if you've got a non-Warden character you'd like to try, I'm open to things. Happy to do stuff with Anora as well, if that ever presents itself. I headcanon Alistair is pretty straight, but otherwise I'm open to all kinds of shippy things.
